Music & Content

Tunora provides music discovery and playback functionality using third-party content services. Here's how that works, and what it means for you.

Where the music comes from

Tunora brings together two kinds of music:

  • Your imported local music — audio files you add yourself from the Files app, the Apple Music picker where supported, or Wi-Fi transfer. This is stored on your device and plays offline.
  • Streamed content — music and discovery data delivered by third-party services, which requires an internet connection. Streaming/discovery data may come from third-party music services including YouTube Music and JioSaavn.

What this means

  • Tunora does not own third-party music. Streamed songs, artwork and related data belong to the respective providers and rights holders.
  • Availability can change. Songs, artists and playlists may appear or become unavailable over time based on decisions made by the providers.
  • Results may vary by region. What's searchable or playable can differ depending on your location and provider availability.
  • Third-party content is controlled by its providers. Catalog, availability and delivery are managed by those services, not by Tunora.

Because streaming relies on outside services, Tunora can't guarantee that any specific song, artist or playlist will be available, and can't resolve outages that occur on a provider's side.

Your responsibilities

You're responsible for using Tunora in line with applicable laws and the terms of the underlying content providers. Please use the app for lawful, personal listening.

Reporting a content concern

If you believe content is appearing incorrectly, or you have a rights-related concern, let us know and we'll look into what we can do on our side. Because catalogs are controlled by third-party providers, some issues may need to be resolved directly with the relevant service or rights holder.

Email Tunora Support with the details.

For how Tunora handles data, see the Privacy Policy. For the rules of using the app, see the Terms of Service.
