Troubleshooting

Good to know: streaming and discovery rely on third-party music services. Tunora can't resolve outages on those services — if a provider is temporarily down, waiting and retrying is often the fastest fix. Your imported local music keeps playing offline.
Music isn't playing
Possible causes
- No or unstable internet connection (for streamed songs)
- The song isn't currently available from the provider
- A temporary third-party service issue
- A temporary app state issue
Try this
- Check your internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular data).
- Try another song to see if the issue is specific to one track.
- Close and reopen Tunora.
- Check whether the issue affects streaming or your local/imported music — if local music plays but streaming doesn't, it's likely a connection or provider issue.
- If it continues, contact support with the song name and what you tried.
Search isn't returning results
Possible causes
- No internet connection
- The title or spelling doesn't match
- The content isn't offered in your region
- A temporary provider issue
Try this
- Confirm you're online and try the search again.
- Try a different spelling, or search by the artist name.
- Adjust the filter chips (songs, albums, artists, playlists).
- Check your Region in Settings — availability varies by location.
- Wait a moment and retry, in case the provider is briefly unavailable.
Local music isn't appearing
Possible causes
- The import didn't finish
- The file format isn't a supported audio type
- The library view needs a moment to refresh
Try this
- Re-run the import from Library and confirm the files were selected.
- Make sure the files are audio files in a supported format.
- Reopen the Library tab, or close and reopen Tunora to refresh.
- If the file came via Wi-Fi transfer, confirm the upload completed.
Wi-Fi transfer isn't working
Possible causes
- The iPhone and computer are on different networks
- The transfer screen was closed on the iPhone
- Network settings are blocking the local connection
Try this
- Put your iPhone and computer on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Keep Tunora open on the Wi-Fi transfer screen while uploading.
- Type the exact web address Tunora shows into your computer's browser.
- If it won't connect, disable any VPN or restrictive network isolation and try again.
- As an alternative, import the files through the Files app instead.
Equalizer isn't working
Possible causes
- Tunora Pro isn't active (the Equalizer is a premium feature)
- The effect is subtle at the current settings
Try this
- Confirm Tunora Pro is active. If you subscribed, use Restore Purchases.
- Open Settings → Audio → Equalizer and try a preset with a clearly different profile.
- Make sure playback is active so you can hear changes in real time.
- Still stuck? See premium activation below.
Purchase completed but Tunora Pro isn't active
Try this
- Open Tunora and tap Restore Purchases.
- Verify you're using the same Apple Account that made the purchase.
- Check Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions to confirm the subscription shows as active.
- Ensure you have a stable connection, then reopen Tunora.
- If Pro still isn't active after a few minutes, contact support and include the approximate purchase time. Please don't send payment card numbers or codes.
App isn't detecting my music
Try this
- Confirm the music was actually imported into Tunora (from Files, Apple Music, or Wi-Fi transfer). Tunora plays music you add to it, not your entire device library automatically.
- Re-run the import and make sure the files are supported audio types.
- Reopen the Library tab or restart the app to refresh.
- See Local music isn't appearing for more.
